Foods

I had the most incredible dinner date last night with the beautiful Lauren Angwin! We made this insanely wonderful salmon recipe and drank some delicious Chilean Chardonnay, and topped it off with a crazy dessert that she made - it was a chocolate brownie/pudding combination. It sound weird and it tasted just as weird and delicious as it sounds. We were alternately puzzling and yumming over it. It was so much fun - words can't describe how much I love to hang out with that girl. I love my gorgeous new apartment, but I miss being the 5th roomie at her place sometimes.


This is the official picture of the dish...ours was better and more colorful because we used red onion instead of white, and broccoli rabe instead of little chilli peppers. Yum!

Since yesterday was my sister & her husband's first wedding anniversary (yay!) I was kind of in mourning that I wouldn't be getting the same star treatment we got on her wedding day...it was the BEST MEAL OF MY LIFE. I will never eat that well ever again. So I figured the best way to deal with that grief would be to make something delicious myself with miss Lauren!
